Barbara Klemm (* 1939 in Münster, Westfalen) grew up in Karlsruhe, Germany, and learned photography in a local portrait studio. Since 1959 she worked as photographer for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ), since 1970 with a focus on culture and politics.
