LAURENZ BERGES

Laurenz Berges (* 1966 in Cloppenburg/Lower Saxony), german photographer, studied communication design at the University Essen from 1986 to 1992 and in the class of Bernd Becher at the Academy of Arts in Düsseldorf from 1992 to 1996. He gained attention with his photographs of abandoned places and rooms, which illustrate rather a lost emptiness than a historic fragment or a social insight.
