THOMAS KRATZ

Thomas Kratz (* 1972 in Waiblingen), german painter, draftsman, and performer. He uses many media in his works, paintings, works on paper, videos, installations, and performances. Besides the conception of own exhibitions, he curates exhibitions of other artists. Important are his collaborations with other artists for special projects. Kratz studied at the Hochschule für Gestaltung ZKM in Karlsruhe and in 2001 he was in the master class of Günther Förg at the Akademie der Bildenden Künste in Munich. In 2005 he studied painting at the Royal College of Art in London.
